A homeless man remains in the Palm Beach County Jail after he attacked several Palm Beach County sheriff’s deputies, leaving one with a broken hand, according to an arrest report.
Jared C. Noiman, 22, is facing charges of aggravated battery on an officer, battery on an officer and resisting arrest with violence and was being held early Tuesday in lieu of $20,000 bail.
Deputies were called Saturday afternoon to Western Beef Supermarket at Sandalfoot Plaza west of the city and met with the manager, who said that Noiman was in front of the business cursing and playing loud music, the report said.
After deputies told Noiman he had to leave the area, he became “agitated (and) began stating that we would have to shoot him,” the report said.
Deputy Robert Estroff began to pull out his Taser when Noiman allegedly kicked him in the stomach and punched him in the left side of the face.
Estroff, who sustained a broken hand and swollen left eye, managed to deploy his Taser on Noiman.
After Noiman was taken to West Boca Medical Center, deputies had to assist the hospital staff when he became aggressive. Noiman allegedly kicked one deputy in the head and another on the side of the face.
