The Palm Beach County Convention and Visitors Bureau operations vice president has accepted the top job at the Tourist Development Council, pending county commission approval Tuesday.
Glenn Jergensen, who moved from the Greater Boynton Beach Chamber of Commerce to the CVB in early 2012, oversaw an economic study last year that determined $5 billion is spent locally each year by tourists. He also worked closely with the bureau’s plans to use statistical market research to help determine how to spend marketing dollars.
