Florida’s insurance consumer advocate said Wednesday she has formed a new working group that meets next week to stop what she called “unscrupulous” practices that threaten the homes and life savings of consumers.
“Consumers should not be victimized by poor claims handling and unscrupulous business practices by those seeking to exploit homeowners when they are most vulnerable,” Robin Westcott said.
