The Florida Supreme Court has ordered its judiciary to attend a crash course in foreclosure law next month as the legal system prepares to use millions of dollars to reduce a statewide backlog of nearly 343,000 cases.
About $21 million became available July 1 to hire additional case managers, magistrates and senior judges and to increase the use of technology to streamline Florida’s protracted foreclosure process.
