He also serves on the Board of Directors for the Southeast Florida Apartment Association (www.sefaa.com), a trade group that promotes professionalism in the apartment industry.

All of his jobs, he said, have been in sales and dealing with people.
“I’m good at building relationships,” he said.
One of the ways his company likes to brand itself, he said, is as a business “that likes to give back to the community, to pay it forward.” They do a lot of work with Quantum House and Junior Achievement. Last summer, Seacrest Services was named the Outstanding Philanthropic Corporation by the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
“My job is exciting and a constant challenge,” Licata said. “There are always new ventures to get involved in.”
Born in Buffalo, N.Y., Licata lived in Philadelphia for a while before moving to Florida.
“I’m trusting to a fault,” he said. “I believe in somebody until they give me a reason not to.”
