One-time Palm Beach County State Attorney candidate Dina Keever has joined West Palm Beach business and securities litigation firm McCabe Rabin, where she will be in charge of litigating whistleblower cases.
The new job for Keever, a former Assistant U.S. Attorney, comes nearly a year after she lost a bid for the local top prosecutor’s job to current State Attorney Dave Aronberg. Keever ran as a Republican in a three-way race that also included longtime defense attorney Robert Gershman, who ran as an independent.
Keever on Thursday said she and partners at the firm, including her Florida State University law school classmate and fellow former federal prosecutor Ryon McCabe, finalized her employment deal on Monday.
Aside from handling false claims act and whistleblower cases as Senior Counsel at the firm, Keever will also handle complex civil and criminal litigation.
