The potential number of employees, building heights and hours that helicopters will land and take off were subjects discussed at tonight’s meeting concerning FPL’s proposed million-square-foot corporate campus on the north side of PGA Boulevard between Interstate 95 and Alternate A1A.
Helicopters, the same as the ones that arrive and leave from the public utility’s corporate office in Juno Beach, are planned at the 86-acre property. The helicopters would not take off early in the morning or late at night except during emergencies such as hurricanes, said Ken Tuma, the project’s planner.
