A plan to spend $200 million in National Mortgage Settlement money was approved 117-0 by the Florida House of Representatives on Tuesday and is headed to the governor’s office for signing.
The bill, SB 1852, dedicates money to college dorm fees, domestic violence centers, Habitat for Humanity and housing subsidies for low-and medium-income homeowners and renters.
