More people are getting jobs statewide and in Palm Beach County and some are construction workers, signs the groundwork is being laid for a recovery in the hardest hit industry.
Job growth has broadened in Florida and locally in the past year, with most industries improving. The unemployment rate fell again in February to 7.7 percent, equal to the national rate, the state Department of Economic Opportunity reported Friday, as the economy created 7,800 jobs.
