Delray Beach poised for major redo in historic district

The new owner of Lake Worth’s Gulfstream Hotel has its sights set on a grand redevelopment in another seaside village: downtown Delray Beach.

Hudson Holdings, which bought the Gulfstream Hotel last week, has a contract to buy developer Tom Worrell’s expansive properties in and around Swinton Avenue, just south of Atlantic Avenue. Among them: The Sundy House hotel, restaurant and gardens, at 106 South Swinton Ave.
