Hoteliers are shaking up the tourism ranks by targeting reserve funds being saved for convention center expansion.
The group, through their industry association and clout with the Convention and Visitors Bureau board, are lobbying to redirect about $5 million into marketing and advertising. The undercurrents bubbled up last week at a Palm Beach County Tourist Development Council retreat.
