NEW: Bicylist flown to hospital after being hit by car in West Palm


A person riding a bicycle was flown by helicopter to a hospital after being hit by a car on Saturday morning in West Palm Beach.

The incident happened at 10:52 a.m. on Military Trail near Saturn Ave., according to Capt. Albert Borroto of Palm Beach County Fire rescue.

First responders found the victim lying on the road. He was transported to a local trauma center by helicopter.

It is not known what type of vehicle hit the bicyclist, or the person’s condition.
