Amber Alert issued for missing girl, 14, believed to be with sex offender


Authorities throughout Florida are asking for public’s help to be on the lookout for a missing 14-year-old girl who may be in the company of a convicted sex offender.

Nicole Hall was last seen Dec. 18 in Lewisburg, W.V. Authorities think she may be with Christopher Rider, 27, who is a parole absconder and convicted sex offender in West Virginia, a Greenbrier County Sheriff's Department news release stated. 

A felony warrant was issued for his arrest on Dec. 20. Authorities think that they may be heading to Florida. 

Hall has brown hair and brown eyes. She is 5-foot-8 and weighs 104 pounds. Rider has brown hair and brown eyes. He is 5-foot-10 and weighs 140 pounds. 

Officials said that if you see them, use caution, do not approach them, and call police immediately.

Anyone with information on their whereabouts is asked to call 911 or the Greenbrier County Sheriff’s Office at 304-647-7911.
