9 places to go paddle boarding in Palm Beach County


Man, it’s hot outside! And going in on cones and cones of ice cream isn’t the only way to beat the heat.

We’ve put together several guides to keep cool you cool with water activities in Palm Beach County. From a list of places to go kayaking, to diving with sharks in Riviera Beach and checking out  the largest water park in South Florida. But if you want to avoid crowds (I understand, the heat makes me cranky too), paddle boarding might be the answer. 

Here are a 9 places to try Stand-up Paddle Boarding (SUP) in Palm Beach County:


1. RIVIERA BEACH - PALM BEACH PADDLE BOARDING (PBPB)

The Riviera Beach Marina allows people to explore Singer Island, Palm Beach, West Palm Beach and the rest of Palm Beach County. There are several options at this location. 

Regular rates (per person):

  • One-hour: $30.00
  • Two-hours: $50.00
  • 1/2 Day or 4 Hours: $60.00
  • Full day (around 8 hours): $80.00

Lesson rates (per person):

Lessons are one hour and led by instructor and also include one hour of free play, learning time. 

  • One Person Lesson: $133.75 each 
  • Two People: $240.75 each 
  • Three People: $321.00 each

Sunset Experience rates (per person):

  • Two-hours: $60

*Note: Must be booked in advance.

Yoga/ Fitness paddle boarding rates:

  • Standard class: $40.00 per person (5th class is free)
  • BYO-Board class: $20.00 per person.

Guided tour rates:

When: 7 days a week.  8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday, last rental is 3 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday last rental is 5 p.m.

6. LOXAHATCHEE RIVER - JUPITER OUTDOOR CENTER

  • ½ day (four-hours): $40

*Note: Age requirement is 16 and up.
