One of Florida's must-try restaurants of 2018 is in Jupiter

This isn’t a list of the best restaurants in Palm Beach County. — but we have one of those here. No, this is about just one place, thanks to Only in Your State who named the 2018 hit list. That’s the restaurants you must try this year throughout the state of Florida.

So who made the cut from our county? Guanabanas of course.

No surprise here. Guanabanas is quite the place — definitely the cool kid in the restaurant class. The waterfront spot originally opened as a sandwich shop back in 2004, according to their website. And today, it’s an outdoor dining restaurant and bar with tiki huts and banyan trees. The atmosphere is definitely #VacationMode.

Not a fan of Guanabanas? Here are 3 other places to dine in Palm Beach County:

»Love Michael Jordan, good food and perfect views? Check out 1000 North, the new Jupiter restaurant that he partly-owns

»Oh decisions! This place can be super healthy or not so much

»Ever been to Aioli? They’ve got a second location now

Back to Guanabanas.

As you know, with such fame and reputation, there’s no escaping the media. Here are 7 times Guanabanas has given people something to talk about, starting from most recent.

Hidden gem: Chubby Salmon brings sushi, ramen to Jupiter

I followed a recent weeknight whim to Chubby Salmon, a sushi and hibachi spot that’s tucked into a Jupiter strip plaza. On my way there, I passed a line that snaked outside Food Shack, located just doors away. Unlike its iconic neighbor, the sushi spot was virtually empty, its hibachi fires unlit. I should specify that it was empty of people...
