Because South American hot dogs are all about the toppings, this Colombian place gets it to a T. Ever thought about adding pineapple, garlic sauce and crushed chips to your bun? No? How about quail eggs? Trust me, this dog is amazing.

Talk about a fancy hot dog. The presentation by this spot is spectacular, and the flavors are there to back it up. Palm Beach’s popular bar and grill serves its mighty Silver-Service Kosher Hot Dog with a deviled egg.

Avocado, bacon and tomato over a hot dog? Yes, please. These might be killer hot dogs, but the real killer is your appetite. You can choose between hot dog meat or sausage with prices ranging form $7.00 to $13.99.

No need to travel to Chicago to find authentic hot dogs. When you walk into Big Daddy’s Hot Dogs and More, you’ll get a healthy serving of nostalgia and New England Patriots pride. All the hot dogs are served on toasted, New England-style buns, which are buns cut down the top instead of the side.

A place that’s definitely pleasing Chicago hot dog fans with a side of hand-cut fries:

“...was going to get my usual 2 dogs with fries, today they started serving authentic Chicago Italian beef from Taylor street on gonnella bread with sweet peppers or hot giordana mix, I’m addicted and know I will be back often.” Phil Rosenbloom, Facebook Review

There are four hot dog styles on the menu. A New York dog with German beer sauerkraut and Bavarian mustard;  the Chicago which has spicy pickled green beans, green relish, sliced tomatoes, diced red onion; the Southwestern with Chipotle crema, diced avocado, pico de gallo and shredded sharp cheddar; and the Kobe Dog with Kobe beef meat, German beer sauerkraut and tomato jam.

*All beef, foot long hot dogs are served in a toasted potato hoagie roll.

The concept is retro New York public school meets early hip hop. The beef dogs, too, are very New York.

The Sabrett franks are served on a toasted, buttered bun (baked in Delray Beach by the Old School Bread Company) and topped with varying amounts of bling, writes Palm Beach Post Food Editor, Liz Balmaseda. Check out what she loves at P.S. 561.
