LOUIS CK

Accused: The comedian, TV and film star has been accused by women of exposing himself and masturbating. The comedian said the allegations were true. After it was reported by The New York Times, the release of his new movie, “I Love You, Daddy,” was canceled.

His local connections: Louis CK appeared in June 2009 at the Palm Beach Improv at CityPlace on his “Hilarious” tour. In an interview with The Palm Beach Post, he talked about how entitlement has ruined his generation and turned them into petulant, spoiled brats. And he included himself. “I’m terrible,” he said by phone from his Manhattan home. “I’m unbelievable. If I have a waitress who’s being rude to me, my voice is shaking. … I feel entitled to the greatest service borne unto man, and that’s just a ridiculous way to live your life.”

BRETT RATNER

Accused: The producer and director of the “Rush Hour” films has been accused of sexual harrassment and assault. His lawyer has denied the allegations. But he has stepped away from his involvement with Warner Bros. pictures, and reports are out that “Wonder Woman” star Gal Gadot will not make a sequel if he or his production company are involved in any way.

His local connections: Ratner has appeared twice at galas for the Palm Beach International Film Festival. “It’s the only film festival that invites me,” the Miami-born Ratner told The Palm Beach Post in 2005. At that 2005 event, he was accompanied by his then-girlfriend, Palm Beach Gardens tennis star Serena Williams and her sister Venus, whom Ratner referred to from the podium as ‘my future sister-in-law.’

RICHARD DREYFUSS

Accused: The Academy Award-winning actor has been accused of sexual harassment of a writer on a TV script. Dreyfuss has said he thought the flirtation was consensual. “The fact that I did not get it makes me reassess every relationship I have ever thought was playful and mutual,” he told New York magazine’s Vulture blog.

His local connections: In February 2008, he staged his “An Evening with Richard Dreyfuss, On the Real Life Stage: Brooklyn, Hollywood, Israel.” at the Eissey Theatre in Palm Beach Gardens. In an interview with The Palm Beach Post on his career and his politics, he was also asked what would be on his obituary: “Oh, they’ll say ‘actor-activist,’ and they’ll say, ‘According to The Howard Stern Show, he was the best kisser in Hollywood.’ “

He was removed from his Netflix TV show “House of Cards” and his part in an upcoming Ridley Scott movie has been cut out and will be re-filmed with another actor.

His local connections: The Palm Beach Post reported that Spacey was spotted once shopping on Worth Avenue in Palm Beach. He also had a fictional connection here: Spacey played Vice President Al Gore’s former chief of staff in “Recount,” the HBO movie about Palm Beach County’s role in the 2000 presidential election.

HARVEY WEINSTEIN

Accused: The once-powerful mogul and producer has been accused of rape, sexual assault and harassment. He has denied the allegations. Weinstein was fired from his company, and has been booted out of the Motion Picture Academy. He is also under investigation by police.

His local connections: To our knowledge, Weinstein has never made a highly publicized appearance in Palm Beach County, but his soon-to-be ex-wife, fashion designer Georgina Chapman, appeared at a charity reception and fashion show at Saks Fifth Avenue in Palm Beach in 2014.
