Fresh food and lots of options at Panera Bread

MENU

Breakfast items include oatmeal, bagels, pastries, baked egg soufflés and sandwiches, as well as fruit and yogurt, coffee and tea. Lunch and dinner options include soups, salads, sandwiches, pastas, pastries, bakery items, sodas, iced teas, smoothies and coffee.

ATMOSPHERE

Cozy and comfortable tables and booths, with a small area for larger parties. Bakery photos hang on the walls, and instrumental jazz plays overhead. Plenty of outdoor seating is also available.

FAVORITE FOOD/PRICE

Panera’s seasonal options are delightful. You can mix and match with a you-pick-two option. The vegetarian autumn squash soup ($3.99 you pick two; $5.99 bowl) tastes just like grandma made, and the roasted turkey, apple and cheddar sandwich ($5.79 you pick two; $10.09 whole) is a jam-packed party in your mouth. Another fall option is the turkey cranberry flatbread. Although it’s a nice take on Thanksgiving dinner, it gives you more bread than turkey, cranberry sauce or fresh spinach ($5.19 you pick two; $6.89 whole). The chipotle chicken avocado melt is savory and simple, but with a kick ($5.19 you pick two; $9.29 whole). Two of our favorites are the vegetarian creamy tomato soup with hints of red pepper and oregano ($3.99 in a you pick two; $5.99 for a bowl) and the broccoli cheddar soup ($3.99 you pick two; $5.99 bowl). They’re thick and full of flavor, and we go for these almost every time.
