The large menu covers all the bases, from fried rice and lo mein to pork, chicken, beef and seafood dishes. There’s a large selection of appetizers and soups, chef’s specialties and “diet” dishes. Lunch specials are $6.25 and include pork fried rice and a choice of soup or soda. Dinner combination platters are $8.45 and come with an egg roll and pork fried rice or white rice.
It’s a take-out restaurant with a handful of tables for those who wish to dine in.
OUR FAVORITE FOOD/PRICE
We ordered three lunch specials at $6.25 each. My husband tried the pepper steak, a large serving of tender beef, peppers and onions, which he thoroughly enjoyed. He also had an egg roll ($1.50) and gave it two thumbs up. My sesame chicken was a little too chewy for my taste, although the flavor was good. My daughter’s curry chicken was wonderful — I sampled it — with tender pieces of chicken, vegetables and just the right amount of spice. We chose wonton soup with our lunch specials, and we found it tasty.
REASON TO GO
Good Chinese food, lots of choices, large portions and reasonable prices. The lunch specials and dinner combinations are a bargain.
I ordered our food to go, and it was ready quickly. Everything was well packaged, and the order was accurate.
There’s a lot of foot traffic as take-out is very popular here.
Kids who like Chinese food will find plenty of choices on the menu.
