Nothing says Happy New Year like a free event. Get your kids ready and head over to Downtown at The Gardens for an afternoon full of activities: carousels, face painting, games and more. The party is 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Dec. 31, 2017 at the Carousel Courtyard.

Ring in the New Year with furry and feathered friends at the Palm Beach Zoo’s fifth annual event. There’s a dance party in the Fountain Plaza, plus face painting and an apple juice toast and sun drop at noon. The event is included with regular zoo admission.

Celebrate the New Year with family activities at the South Florida Science Center & Aquarium in West Palm Beach. The party kicks off at 11 a.m. on Dec. 31, 2017 with face painting, crafts, DIY confetti launchers and more. Activities included with general admission.

Ok, it’s not a Noon Year’s Eve, but you can drop off your child to celebrate New Year’s Eve with a sleepover at Showtime Performing Arts Theatre in Boca Raton. Kids will enjoy dinner, breakfast, souvenirs, games and a balloon drop. Cost is $50 per child, $25 for siblings. This event is for children age 7 and up.
