The Gap store at The Mall at Wellington Green will soon be closing its doors for good.
Signs posted in the store’s front windows on Thursday offer deep discounts on clothing and other merchandise.
“This store is closing,” the signs read. “You can always shop gap.com.”
The store is expected to officially close in March, according to an employee. Sales range from 30 to 50 percent off, with an additional 20 percent off added at the register.
Gap, Inc. announced in September that it would close roughly 200 under-performing Gap and Banana Republic specialty locations over the next three years.
The Gap store in The Gardens Mall in Palm Beach Gardens is also set to close. Friday marks the store’s last day of business. Signs posted in the store during the busy holiday shopping rush in November advertised that everything must go, offering shoppers discounts on clothing and other items.
The Gap also has stores at The Palm Beach Outlets and the Town Center mall in Boca Raton.
