Free Picture with Santa

Where: West Palm Beach

When: Beginning on Nov. 24 and continuing through Christmas Eve.

What: For the second year in a row, The Palm Beach Outlets will be offering FREE photos with Santa this holiday season. Each family will receive two free professional photos along with a digital download of a single image. One giveaway per family, per Christmas season. Home Depot Kid's Workshop

Where: Home Depot stores countywide

When: Nov. 25; 9 a.m. to noon

Public Fish Feedings

Where: Jupiter 

When: Nov. 25, 2 p.m.  

What: Join the staff of the Loxahatchee River Center for a FREE public tour of the aquariums. The River Center's staff provides information on each of the exhibits, and guests have the opportunity to see the fish in action during feeding time. Read more HERE.

Holiday Celebration at Downtown at the Gardens

Where: Palm Beach Gardens

When: Nov. 25; 5-8 p.m.

What: Downtown at the Gardens’ holiday festivities kick off on Saturday, Nov. 25 with a dazzling light show and tree lighting, Polar Express- themed train rides, a special visit from Mrs. Claus, cookies and milk station, holiday letter-writing station, festive stilt walkers and more.  Read more HERE

 

See a Ballet at The Gardens Mall

 

Where: Palm Beach Gardens 

 When: Nov. 25, 3 p.m. 

What: Paris Ballet & Dance of Jupiter will perform The Nutcracker in the mall’s Grand Court. Read more HERE

 

Art Festival in downtown Delray Beach

Where: Delray Beach

When: Nov. 25 & 26, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

What: This annual juried art festival features hand-crafted artwork including glass, photography, painting, mixed media, fiber, jewelry. Admission is free. Read more HERE.

Home Depot Kid's Worshop

Where: Home Depot stores countywide

When: Dec. 2; 9 a.m. to noon

Candy Cane Hunt

Where: Palm Beach Gardens

When: Dec. 2

What: The first annual Candy Cane Hunt at Downtown at The Gardens sponsored by Rhythm &Hues. In addition to the fun Candy Cane Hunt with a Golden Candy Cane to find, there will be prizes, bounce houses and more. It is a free event, but space is limited and tickets are required. Read more HERE. 

ALL WINTER LONG

Here are some FREE events happening all winter long:     

Nightly "Snowfalls" at CityPlace

Where: West Palm Beach 

When: Nightly through Dec. 31 

What: The “snow” falls on CityPlace’s plaza at 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. Monday through Wednesday; and at 6 p.m., 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. Thursday through Sunday. It’s not real snow, but it's as realistic as you can get in South Florida. And the nightly flurries are a huge hit with kids. Read more HERE

Hoffman's Winter Wonderland

 

Where: Greenacres 

When: Nightly through Dec. 30; 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.  

What: The 27th Annual Winter Wonderland runs through Dec. 30 at Hoffman’s Chocolates Factory, Shoppe, Ice Cream Parlour and Gardens at 5190 Lake Worth Road. The event features more than 125,000 LED lights, holiday displays, a giant Christmas tree, live entertainment, and photo opportunities with Santa and Mrs. Claus. The light display will be open nightly, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., through Dec. 30. It is closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. Admission is free. Read more HERE
