Just in time for Valentine’s Day, local tourism leaders are promoting a handful of deals perfectly designed for both visitors and county residents looking for a romantic getaway.
Discover The Palm Beaches, Palm Beach County’s official tourism marketing arm, has put together a list of specials and packages offered by local hotels and tourist attractions.
The specials include hotel and dining packages, Valentine’s Day cruises and a visit to the top of the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse.

The Annual Strawberry Festival allows visitors to purchase freshly made strawberry shortcakes and other delicious and locally sourced goodies. A “Strawberry Selfie Station” will be available, along with over 90 vendors selling fresh produce, flowers, herbs, gourmet and specialty foods and more. All proceeds from the festival will go to Hospice of Palm Beach County.
To celebrate this year’s season of love, West Palm Beach Escape Rooms will offer a special Valentine’s Day package, exclusive to couples. In a private room for two, couples will have to work quickly together to find clues, decode hidden messages and solve puzzles to escape within 60 minutes or less. Tickets are $30 per couple.
During the first two weeks of February, lovers will have the opportunity to travel through time and escape from one of three Valentine’s Day themed escape rooms. In order complete their mission successfully, couples will have to buddy up with their special someone for an hour of clue hunting and puzzle solving.

The Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts will welcome the Chicago Symphony Orchestra for an evening of classical musical performances. The program will include Stravinsky’s Scherzo fantastique in B Major, Op. 3, Jennifer Higdon’s Concerto for Low Brass, and Symphony 2 in D Major, Op. 73 by Brahms. The performance is part of the Center’s 2017/2018 Regional Concert Series. Tickets start at $40.
